Adam Lewis' Fantastic Free Kick For Liverpool In UEFA Youth League

Adam Lewis produced a moment of magic to secure the young Liverpool team defeated their Red Star Belgrade counterparts, a free kick which we broke down with version 4 of Globall Coach which will released very soon.

The way they set up for the free kick was interesting. Liverpool (in blue in the animation below) had three players stood over the ball, giving them both right and left footed options for a strike on goal.

They placed a player on the end of the defensive wall to block the view of the goalkeeper behind them, while further attacking players were to the left side of the penalty area giving options if they wanted to cross the ball.

Lewis decided to go for goal and curled a delightful effort into the top corner of the net.

Globall Coach is widely used by clubs to design their set piece program, allowing them to use the interactive tactics board and communicate their ideas with the visual aids provided by the software.
